Five Facts

1. I have hiked halfway down the Grand Canyon (and back).

2. I used to save my allowance to collect Star Trek books.

3. I once had a goldfish that I named Pele after the Hawaiian goddess of fire (I was very impressionable due to whatever book I was reading at the time.)

4. I spent three summers doing archaeology in Western Kentucky in college.

5. My favorite sweet is milk chocolate with hazelnuts.

to 3 mile point. My son and husband did that? I stayed behind with my daughter who wasn't old enough to manage then. But one day I will do it

I went down on the mule on my first trip to Arizona when I was 20. Again only to 3 mile point. I've never been ot the bottom but one day ... God willing :)

I hope we both get down there someday. I'm personally dreaming of one of those raft rides. My knees were definitely happy about all that downhill hiking.

Oh! I envy you! I always wanted to be an archeologist. Why I forgot when I was choosing my major, I have no idea.

Hey, I had a collection of Star Trek books, too! (In fact, I think they may be up in the boys' room.) I always knew you were very cool.
