brand new state

Big news here at home--we're moving to Oklahoma City by mid-May because my husband has accepted a call at a church there to be Rector. We're very excited, overwhelmed by tasks (arggh!) and sad to be leaving friends. More news later--obviously a busy time. We haven't broken the news to the cats yet, and we aren't looking forward to 8 hours down I-44 with Hootie doing his best Marge Simpson imitation.

Wow, OK city.
I've traveled with cats in the car. Ack! I suggest kitty tranks.

Let me know when you get to OKC; I'd love to meet you. Email me if you'd like. My parish is hosting the '05 diocesan convention, so by November we might run into each other one way or another, lol.

Congrats to your husband. It seems so many people are moving from the STL community in the near future.

Hey! You'll be in my neck of the woods. :) I do so hope that you will like it.

Mid May--wow! That isn't so very long, is it?

Best wishes, Emily, and congrats to your whole family.

Hope the actual move isn't too overwhelming. I'd offer to lend a hand, but it's about 1500 miles....

;-)

Really: congratulations!
